For what it's worth, I watched the fight this morning and gave it to Fury. It was a horrible watch though.
It has been shown many times that fighters that Balloon between have problems. One of the reasons why when fighters were fighting 15 rounds and 15 times a year lol, they did more in the ring.

Wow! Even with the knockdown? I really do not score fights well lol, I trust your analysis. What about the time Fury dropped a second time, did it look like it was caused by a punch to you?

I just preferred Fury's work during the close rounds over Ngannou's stalking. I guess one of the judges preferred the latter, considering it ring generalship.

As for the second knockdown, it looked like more of a tiredness thing but another referee may have scored it a knockdown and it wouldn't have been too controversial.

It's these marginal factors which explain a lot of supposed "controversy" after fights and sports games generally.

I was also impressed with Francis' upwards left jab, almost an uppercut, that I assume he practiced in training as a strategic weapon specifically for taller Fury.
No...that's one of his signature punches...he's KO'd people with it.

        • Can you imagine if Ngannou became a pro boxer 15-20 years ago instead of at past prime 37 years old? He'd be a Hall of Fame Boxer.

Ok, well I'm a boxing fan, and don't watch mma. Nonetheless, it sure looked tailored for Fury and kept him wary.

Yeah...it was. I actually saw a comment by someone months before the fight saying it would. For a fight that was being dismissed as a going to be one-sided schooling, it turned out to be a pretty damn entertaining matchup.

There is no reason to think someone is a casual for the opinion Francis won this fight... You may disagree, that is your perrogative.
If my iq’s low, then you must be on the spectrum. “Pure” bloodlines I suppose? I just counter acted your statement, and you imploded. Good try though, but then again with being slow I guess. Remember, you’re a good boy, a real good boy. Positive reinforcement.

He didn’t look good in general and yeah he got stopped with a borderline body shot, one that everybody thought was legal including many trainers, boxers & the entire TR commentary team. If you think he’s anything like Ngannou and he has his size and power.. well wait and see lol.

True.. but Dubois isn’t a guy known for a great chin. He got dropped 3 times in his previous fight before Uysk. Uysk couldn’t put a dent in Chisora and look what Fury did
