Why would they become less relevant after that fight?

Fury now has a nasty stain on his reputation (to go with all the others people for some reason couldn't see).

Fury can't claim he doesn't need a Joshua fight now. He got embarrassed by a big strong fella. If Joshua faced the Fury from last night he'd have ended him.

AJ got slapped silly twice by a blown-up cruiserweight. His current standing in the division is significant only in the mind of Eddie. Fury slapped Wilder twice. What does he gain from slapping him again. Like I said, Wilder and AJ belong in the consolation bracket.

But again, why does the Ngannou/Fury fight make them LESS relevant?

Both are top 5 heavyweights. They are relevant.

And both Usyk and Fury have gone from invincible in the minds of your average NSB fool... to having weaknesses.

I think they're very much in the mix.

Usyk struggled with body punches from Dubious. What else did he struggle with?
