And I remember Jack Loew AND Kelly Pavlik stating they were going to leave 160 because kelly was having too hard of a time making weight. I also remember Kelly fighting Taylor at 166 and hopkins fighting at 160 for damn near 20 years.

Pavlik & Hopkins are long lost twins:

Well, JMM and Floyd fought the bulk of their respective careers just four pounds apart. Right? And JMM actually had LW fights before Floyd did. But I don't think anyone views them as "four pounds apart".

Don't you think there is an advantage gained by experience at the higher weight?

Pavlik is the twin that didn't get the muscularity across his shoulders and back.

You voted that Ornelas is the tougher comeback fight,

            Noted.

              Who is the better competition:

              Juan Manuel Marquez...or Enrique Ornelas.

              Can't compare bro...

Both Floyd and Bernard are on two different spectrums of their careers. Bernard has fought almost everybody he possibly could that made sense in the last 10 yrs minus a Roy rematch. Him fighting a bum leading into a fight with Roy and adding the fact that he is indeed 45 yrs old, I think you can cut Bernard some slack.

Floyd vs Marquez on the other hand was sold as this competitive fight when in reality both Boxing experts and fans expected to see what they saw that night. The P4P rankings is what makes people so jaded in the world of recognizing who's really a "P4P" fighter.

I have a tough time believing the former #2 fighter JMM would beat Mosley, Cotto, Berto, or Clottey. Yet, Floyd beating Marquez is supposed to be held as a high accolade?

I recall an article where bull ****ter Loew mentioned that Pavlik was looking to go to heavyweight one day because he has the power and height or something. What utter crap when he lost to Hopkins in that fashion.

Both Mayweather and Hopkins can be accused of fighting guys who have just come up.

Fight night weight and what you are at weigh in are totally different. Marquez isn' very small, but he could make very low weights. Infact he can make 130 still IMO but seemed to be chasing Pac.

I think people have more of an issue that Mayweather was praised to be god after beating Marquez. It was a great win, but look at who he fought. He has become P4P number 1/2 because of it.

Someone like Cotto should be number 2 IMO. He has skills and beat a very good fighte with 1 eye. He's in the same divison as Maywetaher and fought more regularly in the last 2 years. The 1 lost he had was bad, but also suspect. He has beaten better fighters than Mayweather has at in the last 5 or so fights.

I think Mayweather was P4P number 2 because of his overall resume. I don't agree with it but I'm only guessing. I'd still have B-Hop ahead of him.

I understand Hopkins though. He wants to make sure he can secure the Roy Jones fight without losing any money by losing his tune up. Just don't put this on ppv
