Tank reached his ceiling, it’s why they are forcing him to stay at 135 til he cant. Tank at 140 is gonna need careful match making, at 147 he gets absolutely mauled. They built up tank like they wanted to build up broner, only difference is Broner thought he was smarter than his promoters and wrote checks everyone knew he couldn’t cash. It’s why the kept tank from Loma, why they will keep him from Shakur, they’ll keep him at 135 just long enough for threats to be a division apart while feeding him the pit bulls of the fight game.

If you only go by the eye test then sure, Tank Davis might be #1 P4P.

If you also factor in resume then there is no way he is #1 P4P.

Bernard knows Grevonta Davis hasn't earned P4P status but that's what Davis is missing, and that's what Bernard is trying to bait him with. Is it possible? Maybe. Will Grevonta sign with Golden Boy? There is no set criteria for anyone’s pick so if Hopkins, who I’m sure has more experience in boxing than anyone on this forum combined, thinks tank is #1, that’s his opinion.
