I was merely stating that there might be some other fighters better suited. And like some one else mentioned, the reverse (who on Joe's resume) proves just as much...nothing.

duran won a belt at 160. doesn't make him a middleweight.

leonard won a belt at 168. doesn't make him a super middleweight.

hearns won a belt at 190. doesn't make him a cruiserweight.

Thanks for the info. But you still haven't told me when Hopkins beat a welter.

Winky, yes. I agree. 35 and fighting at 170 meant very little.

Tito, I wholeheartedly disagree. No middleweight ever did what he did to Joppy and he was equally devastating at 154 - and held two belts there.

Oscar? Forcing Hopkins to get down to 156 should quell that talk.

Sure you are. But the deal is known Chunk. Joe C beat Bhop and RJ when they were older, so we got a million Joe vs prime Toney/prime Bhop/prime RJ threads that just turn into pissin matches that don't resolve ****. This is anotha one of those unfortunate topics that seems to be cursed to never die, and never do **** but incite fame wars. I ain't attackin you, but this **** is pointless homey. No good convo seems to come outta this topic.
