If this story is legit then someone should be looking into it at this point. I think we've all heard stories about sketchy Mexican boxing sh^t, even beyond sketchy US boxing sh^t, but Regis should give his info to some more serious boxing journalist & have them look into it.
At this point I just see it as sh^t talk til I hear differently.
And fook even if it turns out to be true that wouldn't change anything except Devin's record. It doesn't alter any of the sh^t we've seen him do to get where he's gotten.

Now Jaron has to be on the sideline, instead of staying busy fighting, because he believes he's on the aforementioned list. Meanwhile, past fighters, like Chavez and Sugar Ray Leonard, stayed busy, making title defenses, and fighting opposition that many believed was lower than them, at their current level.
This record-padding, Floyd-replicating formula is failing the boxer in the long term. They fight all these "easy" fights, find their match, lose their "0" and are written off..
Look at Joyce- he has now lost twice to Zhang after being an undefeated, Silver medalist Juggernaut. Now, he's not in the conversation, at all..
Boxers need to lose, and lose early, so their confidence is regulated, and their training is actually correcting their faults. Instead, modern boxers spend hundreds of rounds and thousands of hours becoming robotic, not able to adjust to the opponent in front of them.
I didn't mean for this reply to be this long. Apologies. LololLast edited by TreD; 10-22-2023, 12:52 PM.maguirre likes this.
