Is Jermell Charlo expected to take a long layoff?

There are many cases where beggars suddenly become choosers. I have examples, but I feel they're no longer relevant in these "networks closing shops" era of the sport. (I have to mention Fox Sports boxing because they stayed for at least 2 years before closing shop.)Simple advise to Tzsyu is stop mentioning Charlo's name to the point of being seen as "begging" for the fight. By then it's too late. You're forced to accept whatever is offered. You begged for the fight. Then accept any offer Charlo sends.
But then there are cases where the beggar gets to demand something more like Frank Martin's case. He kept mentioning Shaku's name and when it was offered, he wanted retirement money, which sounds to me like you won't be in the fight to win, but to lose. Nowadays, the opportunity to beat a big name and the potential of making more money you never imagine would come is never taken into consideration.Comment
