How could it have been the same when

    1. Hatton was a big underdog against Floyd

    2. It was Floyd ranked #1 p4p

    3. There was no catchweight

That doesn't make sense. People say Floyd needs to beat Cotto. Yet this Cotto is underdog against a former 106 fighter

      EXPLAIN
Because your ******ed and don't know that betting lines and odds have NOTHING to do with chances of someone winning.

Betting lines reflect consumer willingness and confidence to wager. Betting lines move and odds are made in an attempt to equalize the money wagered on any one side and to limit or equalize the bookie's exposure so that he wins no matter who the victor is.

Simple, there are a lot of die hard Pacman fans that believe PAC can dismantle "Elite WWs" from the sole experience of DLH and HAtton. Then Fans would also back this theory up with the other string of "Convincing" victories Pac has had prior to his "WW campaign". IMO, the same Pac fans believe that Cotto is another notch in Pac's belt. No disrespect to Pac fans, just staing my opinion.

In actuality, A BOXING fan can see the value of both fighters, and understand the strength and weaknesses of both fighters. With that being said, I see Cotto edging forward with a Victory in 10. In my mind, Floyd vs Cotto is a hell of a more attractive fight, then a Mayweather vs Pac Fight. Don't get me wrong I think Floyd and Pac would be entertaining too, but I'd like Floyd to fight someone in his division.

Cotto is better than Marquez. It's only because Pac has improved so much and at the higher weights that he has a 50% chance to win in my book.

Cotto has had tough fights lately, Pacquiao is P4P #1 and blowing people out. Easy to understand, even if you disagree.

Cause the media hype. Nobody knows that Cotto has fought the best welterweights. pacquiao took all of Mayweathers damaged goods and all of his glory with it so now he is in the spotlight.

Cotto couldve done the same, But chose the option for legacy building. In the end Cotto will be recognized as the true best fighter in boxing. He has all the elements speed power boxing ability and much more.

Pacquiao doesnt have size and has just begun to refine himself. FLoyd mayweather doesnt excite the crowd unless the fight is a complete mismatch. He is too defensive minded and rarely throws punches
