Colbert has so much heart that he's foolish. Tank is too strong and too skillful. Whatever Colbert did in the ring, would only delay the inevitable. He can't keep Tank off of him, he can't hurt Tank. Tank would play around with him, tire him out, let him use up that nervous energy, get in range and drop some hammers and the fat lady would sing very loudly.
