Yes, fury I just checked boxrec and Josh lost to 2 people. But we want to know if you can be only the 3rd person to best josh a select few.

Reaching your ceiling is actually a good thing, it's what more boxers should aspire to because it means you challenged yourself and found out how good you are. Too many boxers these days are afraid of finding out.
IMO Joshua should be lauded for fighting everyone he should have and rematching the two men who beat him. No shame there, that's how it should be done. I'll take an honest effort like that any day of the week over those opportunistic types who pick and choose their opponents carefully.
Nothing wrong with what Fury said, Joshua was matched up perfectly against mainly 40yr olds in this weak HW era, when matched up against his own generation of HWs, his best win is against Parker, and he lost to Fat Andy and Usyk. I give Hearn a lot of credit for selling Joshua as some ATG HW talent to the Brit Casuals.
Joshua really must fight a good name next , Franklin and Helenis simply won't cut it .I get the feeling he's just hanging around for one 'pot of gold' as he calls it but with Hearn struggling to tie down a big money Saudi deal and Fury saying this , it doesn't look too good for him .Struggling to fill the 02 against those types won't do.He needs to stand up and be counted.
Absolutely right on Usyk. I think most of us suspect Fury will be too long, too heavy for him but he's always found an answer... It's impossible to know whether he can find an answer to Fury without seeing the fight.
But that's the issue I take with Fury here. Every active heavyweight who fights mandatories and a decent level of opposition will eventually get beaten. And if you take on your challengers then there's a chance that you'll come up against a style that is all wrong for you. If the fight goes ahead, then that might be the case for Usyk... or it might be the case for Fury. But it won't make either of them shot fighters.
I always thought Usyk was exactly that for Joshua. A terrible match up. And I respected the guy for fighting him when he could have just dropped a belt and looked for more suitable fights. He was committed to Undisputed and that meant he had to face the mandatory.
The fact that Joshua lost to Usyk means nothing in terms of how he'd do against Fury. Except if it, as it seems, has damaged his confidence. But Fury is a much better match of styles for Joshua than Usyk was.
It's a fight I think we still need to see. I'm hoping Joshua can get active and do it via mandatory so there's nowhere to run for Fury. He's not taking that fight unless he has to, regardless of what he says about Joshua being no good.
Hahaha yes. Fury is running from AJ was an astute observation ROFL

Who were the 40 year olds he was 'perfectly matched up against'.
He was matched up against Klitschko which was a great fight and the best fight that could possibly be made at the time. And it was for another title.
Then Takam was a mandatory. So was Povetkin. In between them, when he didn't have a mandatory, he fought a unification against one of the two other titlists in Parker.
When he finally got a chance to choose his opponent he went with Miller who wasn't 40. Then late notice Ruiz who also wasn't 40.
He was committed to Undisputed and that meant he had to face the mandatory.
Committed to undesputed?? When? When he ducked Wilder in 18? When he ducked Fury last year?
After Aj said in an interview "i won't be rushed into the Wilder fight" & said "19 20 21" Eddie then told reporters "he (Wilder) might loose by then"
The only plan they've ever been committed to is least risk for most reward, hoping to get the wbc with another easy touch.

Why?
Who's Aj ever beaten that wasn't a shot 38-41 year old or a can?
He needs to fight Wilder & win in style to earn the Fury shot.
But from what I've heard today Wilder Ajs off.... path of least resistance to Hrgovic Wallin winner & the ibf. It's they're way.
Fury's right.
Aj can no longer fill a home town arena & gets booed at home.
Edward still thinks they're entitled to Saudi money with no belts & a loosing resume. He's been saying that if Aj beat Wilder it's a 5050 split with Fury, he really does live in cloud cuckoo land.
He put it best himself "every fighter has a monetary value" & Ajs bubble has truly burst.
I've heard they're no longer perusing the Wilder fight today, probably wants another can before facing the ibf paper belt Hrgovic Wallin winner.
