Is AJ really going to fight Manuel Charr next?

Charr-Miller has fallen through and rumours are stirring that Charr-Joshua for the "WBA regular" is Joshua's next fight. Would Charr be an acceptable opponent, given that Joshua is coming off wins over Franklin and Helenius and a *6 years in the making* Wilder fight was supposedly "locked in" for December according to Hearn?

    - Charr is 39, was shot in the abdomen four times 11 days after being one-punch KO'd by Briedis in 2015 and had a double hip replacement in 2017

    - Prior to losing to Briedis, Charr lost to Duhaupas, Povetkin and Vitali

    - Charr was selected as a knockover job opponent for Vitali's farewell fight in 2012

    - Charr's best career wins are competitive decisions over Kevin in 2014, Leapai in 2015 and 40+ Ustinov in 2017, followed by 3.5 years of inactivity

    - Charr was a 66-33 underdog in a proposed fight with a 2+ year inactive Trevor Bryan in 2021: one of many fights that have fallen through for Charr over the years, including Haye, Oquendo (due to a failed Charr PED test) and Browne
