If there aren’t more major streaming outlets invested in boxing, the sport has deeper troubles. Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Netflix, Pea****, HBO Max. All hungry for content. Throwing major money at league football, American Football, baseball. If none of them see boxing as appealing, what does that say?

I once worked with a guy that hated our management staff (rightfully so, they are HORRIBLE), and he left to go to another competing produce company. The very next week, our company bought the company he went to. And he was back in our building again within a month! Haha.
When I read this, the first thing that came to mind is if Crawford ends up back on ESPN somehow working with Bob arum in some way hahaha. (I believe he’s a free agent, but still it crossed my mind and made me laugh)Comment

It'd be much better for DAZNs value and profile than Matchroom thats for sure.
I'm British myself but the UK-centric vibe of a lot of DAZNs content is pretty weird honestly, and i'm sure not that marketable to non Brits. Doubt that maybe people really give a **** about paying to watch British domestic boxing.Comment

MatchRoom and GBP have both been with DAZN for a long time! We never got Canelo vs. Andrade! We never got Andrade vs. Munguia! We never got Haney vs. Ryan Garcia! Most recently, we didn't get Munguia vs. Berlanga! It's not about the broadcaster, it's all about the promoters!Comment

I had , and cancelled DAZN cuz it was trash and they couldn’t make ANY good fights. DAZN NEEDS PBC and I hope they are smart enough to realize this. This is a huge step in them becoming THE channel for boxing like they always wanted. I for damn sure will re subscribe the second they announce they signed a PBC deal.Last edited by JLC; 10-19-2023, 05:53 AM.Comment

Boxing as a whole is irrelevant in the US so might as well go with an irrelevant network, the big boys want nothing with this crap.
