It's not that they went to HBO and Showtime , the Networks wouldn't show boxing anymore after Ray Mancini killed Duk Koo Kim in the ring. They refused to air it anymore.

The Mancini-Kim fight was on 11/13/82. There were plenty of fights on network tv after that. The 1984 US Olympic team made their debut at MSG and on ABC with Al Michaels doing the commentating.

Dazn had the right idea but sent the wrong salesperson. I pray that PBC goes to Espn. Espn probably didn't want to invest to much into boxing because TR didn't bring enough value. But if they can get PBC over there with TR and eventually entice Oscar to come over then boxing will be huge again. No more sides of the street. Can you imagine if all three promoters let their 118-140 divisions go at it? Damn son!!!

Their boring boxing team did not help. It always felt like I was watching Golf instead of boxing with this crew. HBO had a way better team. Boxing, nonetheless, will not be the same.

What I meant was "purses." He made nonsensical offers to boxers for fights that were average on tv ratings. Offers ranging from $7 mil to $15 mil to boxers that would have accepted 7x less of that. Why $7 mil and not $1 mil? Mikey Garcia, for example, got $7 mil for the Vargas fight. How can any platform sustain such extravagance?

Are you trying to tell me all those huge offers were turned down repeatedly by Americans because they wanted, less money? What?????

When those huge offers came for all those frauds, they, and all their deranged fans, claimed they were being low balled. But it's a different narrative that's being said now?

Insanity, delusion, cowardice and lies are what the problems are. People come out with crazy narratives with such ease it's scary.

Eddie wanted everyone under one roof which would have meant keeping the costs down and the fights that needed to happen, would happen. Americans didn't want that to happen though because they wanted to be protected and instead create a perception. I mean, are you even watching what is going on? Just look at the fights that are being made and what the conditions are for those fights. Look at the Mexicans and Americans and it's right in front of your face. When they lose under such conditions, the mass corruption is off the scale when they get the robbery EVERY single time. When it comes to having fights on a level playing field, they run away. They don't want to know. They only want them when they're at their worst.

Open your eyes or be part of the problem in the sport.

been watching boxing since the 80s. HBO, Showtime, ESPN tuesday night fights, USA boxing, ABC wide world of sports, NBC, Spike, BounceTv. Now I guess Amazon prime. Its a new day so it is what it is. Good thing about it is PBC aint going nowhere. They've had three 100 million dollar fights this year so someone is going to pick them up. I know everyone is saying they're going to Prime but my dream scenario would be Espn. PBC and TR with no more sides of the street on the world leader in sports. Damn I hope that happens.

Deal with these frauds and you'll see how to destroy a sport. If Prime get involved with these idiots, they'll regret it like everyone else who had to deal with them. But then again, ******ity and insanity is the order of the day when it comes to you lot. No wonder the sport has been crippled. It needs to be taken out of the hands of North America for it to survive. If you continue to have any control, the sport will be dead in a few years, tops.
