Comments Thread For: Zhang Adviser on Hearn, Joshua: They Want Nothing to Do with Zhang; They're So Avoiding Him

A representative for Zhilei Zhang doesn't have high hopes that his charge will ever get to square off against Anthony Joshua. China's Zhang is coming off a rousing third-round knockout of Joe Joyce in their rematch last month that was more definitive than their first encounter, in April, which ended with Zhang stopping Joyce in the sixth round.

Nothing new. Wilder, AJ, and Andy are waiting for their shot at a Fury or Usyk paycheck while Zhang and Hrogvic are staying active for a title shot.
The IBF will probably be vacated by the winner of Fury vs Usyk so Hrogvic will probably become champion.
Zhang will be left out for 1-2 years and Zhang is desperate for a title shot so I imagine he will be a tough opponent for any of his tune up opponents.

I might be in the minority but I actually like this fight for AJ. I think he could beat Zhang again.

If you ask Mauricio Sulaiman he'll tell you Zhang needs a YouTube channel and a checkbook.

Agreed , with their amateur history and Joshua’s win but they won’t let Joshua fight him ….just watch!
