Anything that reduces the number of world titlists in any division should be celebrated. Middleweight is down right now but that doesn't mean everybody should just sit still and wait for the next GGG, Jacobs, or Canelo to come along.

Unification fights are always a good thing even if both fighters suck. Better one world "champion" who sucks than two.

By no means a fight I’m clamouring for but glad it’s happening. It’s better than Janibek just defending against the likes of Butler. I think he’s a good fighter- just needs a dance partner.

Janibek called out Adames recently after saying he wasn't a big enough name or a champion on twitter not long ago. Or whoever runs his phoney tough guy twitter account I suppose.

Charlo is having mental issues I'm pretty sure.

He's been having mental issues for a couple years now. Anyone else would have been stripped.

And yeah, no clue whos running his socials. I don't use twitter, I'm just going off articles. Regardless, he needs to hire whoever was doing Rigo's twitter before the Loma fight.

Its the least hyped I've been about a unification fight since that last Monster one at 118, but wtf is Janibek supposed to do.

If no other better fight is makeable there are worse moves than unifying belts. So I get it from Janibek's POV & other dude is just getting an amazing opportunity to prove himself if hes better than most of us suspect he is.
