I agree Tank ducked Loma. Loma ducked Shakur. Teo ducked Haney. But nice subject change.

Back to the topic.. Benavidez just said he wants Canelo to get stripped if he doesn't fight him next. not gonna look good

What does that have to do with Inoue v Tapales? Back to the topic indeed...

No change of subject, but Tank will duck Shakur for more than 2 years, maybe forever like he does everyone else. You forgot to add Haney ducked the hispanic American Shakur Rivera.

You totally missed the point in your delusion...

Tank and Ryan was a huge fight for the US. One of the biggest in years. And Inoue still makes as much in Japan as those two did in their biggest fight. Neither one of those guys is as big a star in the US as Inoue is in Japan. He doesn't need the US, and the US isn't the market for little guys that you think is. He's on Top Rank. Do you really think you know more than Bob Arum about the business of boxing?

As for his fans wanting to see him fight live, they do, and that's why his fights take place in JAPAN where his fans live...

Pacquiao fought in a very different era. For one, the UFC didn't exist. For two, he debuted in the US at 122 in 2001, and had the bulk of his career ahead of him, and STILL didn't become a superstar until 7 years later when he beat De La Hoya at the American glory class of welterweight. Look how much acclaim Spence got for his 7 title fights solely at welterweight. Inoue will never fight at welterweight. He almost certainly won't make it to 135 even. He's at the tail end of his career. And despite a historic career that guarantees him a first ballot HOF, fans still overlook him here.

FFS, Inoue debuted in the US in 2017, and has been on ESPN since 2020. Where's all the US fans he's supposed to have? Absolutely delusional.

i am not talking about the fight.. i am pointing out to you that tank and ryan are well known compared to inoue and the reason for that is because tank and ryan are from the US and fights in the US!! your average fan is not gonna have that type of money to spend to fly to japan to watch the fight! you must be dreaming!!

ufc didnt exist when pacquiao fought?? the phuck!!!! ufc started back in 93 LOL... you have no idea what the phuck you are talking about and it shows.... if Inoue wants to be a star he needs to fight in the US plain and simple!!

and pac was already gaining american fans during the morales and barrera wars!!! the oscar fight was his come out fight!!! he was already a star by the time he fought oscar!!

For the last time, Inoue is already a star in his home country, and makes bigger purses than our biggest stars that aren't in real glamour divisions.

Inoue has already fought in the US. He debuted in the US 6 years ago. Not sure if you're ****** or just not paying attention. It's already been proven that US fans aren't going to come out for him or anyone else at the lower weight classes.

What about "he already fought in the US six years ago" do you not understand? What about "his fights have been on US TV for free for years" do you not understand? What about "he doesn't need the US" do you not understand?

Name a fighter below 130 that makes $5 million purses in the US. Chocolatito is perhaps the biggest star of the lower weight classes to fight in recent memory, and he's never even gotten above a $500K payday. Estrada's highest purse was $750K.

Pacquiao was only making 2 million vs Barrera at 126. He wasn't making Inoue money until he reached US weight classes.

There's just no getting through to you.

Inoue/Fulton should've been the match-up that happened in the USA, but it didn't. Why? because Ohashi Promotions put up the $$$, not Top Rank or PBC/SHO. Fulton didn't seem to have a better option because he isn't a big star here. The beauty of being a star in your own country...is that you're not obligated to fight outside of it. If Boxing is indeed a global sport, then foreign boxers shouldn't always have to travel to the USA. Many foreign boxers come here out of necessity. Pac was one of them. Pacquiao's star-power grew because he was fighting Mexicans with a U.S. profile (MAB, Morales, Marquez), and then the DLH fight catapulted him. There's no one around Inoue's weight that would entice him to fight over here. He'd have to move all the way up to 135, which probably isn't happening.
