Yeah CANELO not ******. When jumped in weight classe it's always strategic, just so happens it backfired with Bivol.

Crawford on the other hand jumping 3 weight classes seems to be 100% ego, without any rehydration clause it looks like a money grab or delusional ego move.

Weight matters, except in rare cases. Bud is as tough as they come and as strong as they come. I truly believe if Bud hits anybody at 168, he can hurt them. He can take it, and he hits like a much bigger man. Ask Errol, who still has a headache and speed knots everywhere

If Bud Crawford, who took 10 rounds to KO Shawn Porter, moves up 21 lbs and 3 divisions and starts knocking around guys at 168, there will be a part 2 of Netflix's documentary on Victor Conte.

I think he just wants the big money fight before he retires. He's 36, he's undisputed in 2 divisions, lineal in 3 and he's only now being talked about, I don't blame him. He probably at least tries unlike Mel.

You say that like Shawn had been knocked out before or something...

I like Bud as much as the next person but I think people are overvaluing the Spence performance and selling Canelo short. Weight classes matter, especially when both fighters are highly skilled. Do you really think Bud can take a clean Canelo shot? We know Canelo has an amazing ****ing chin and I think we can agree GGG probably hits harder than Bud. I know Bud would go out guns blazing unlike Charlo but this is getting pretty ridiculous.

Mell who is a much naturally bigger guy than Bud felt the 2 weight class difference immediately and went into survival mode lol. Bud started at 135 and Canelo at 147 and that will likely be the gap where they end their careers, 154 and 168, two divisions apart.

Yeah he definitely not doing what Mel did. Spence wouldn't either.

If bud beats Nell at 168, that's only 6 divisions. Not to be sniffed at. But Pac s proved it can be done. Duran started at 135 and beat 6ft middleweights.

If anyone can jump 3 weight class to beat a hall of famer, its definitely Crawford. The guy is just that clutch
