I RESPECT HOPKINS AS A FIGHTER,BUT AS A BUSINESSMAN HE DOES NOT HAVE A CLUE.OLDER ,WISER AND DUMBER.HATING ON FLOYD CUZ HE GETS IT.ITS HIS OWN FOUGHT WITH BLACKBALLIN ADAMEK ,ON AGAIN OFF AGAIN WITH BAD CHAD TO NOW ENRIQUE DOE ,ROY IS FIGHTING DANNY GREEN. IHOP COULD'VE FOUGHT Zsolt Erdei (30-0),Allan Green (28-1),Sakio Bika (28-3-2),BATTLE OF PHILA Steve Cunningham (22-2) OR ANY OTHER GUY OVER SEAS.

Anyways, Bhop has a deal to fight Roy Jones (that is a $$$$ fight). Tune up fight? Ever heard of one before? This is the very definition of a tune up fight.
Also, andy kolle wasn't availible either

wow what a weird ass matchup. Ornelas has no chance. I hope he is getting a good pay day. He just cant catch a break. This is very weird for me to picture.

Nah, I'm sorry.
These are his last two fights. All that's being said is, a SLIGHTLY better tune up, isn't un called for. This is just too far down the ranks.
Better than Manfredo - could Calzaghe have fought anyone he liked at that point? No.
Cotto and Margacheato having weak tune ups?
Erm, weren't they both coming off dominating losses for the ones your probably talking about? Post big name wins and being able to make a few bigger fights, they didn't go so low down the ranks as this.
All I'm saying is, Hopkins still has some in the bag as he's shown, he can risk a little more than this, as a tune up to a past prime Roy also whom he's also over dog against. He does rack on about taking risks and did mention I'm sure wanting a decent tune up. That is not this I'm afraid. It's not god awful by any means, just not great. He could fight someone a fair bit better, still not risk much, probably get a belt, gain more credibility, add to his legacy. It's a shame as I think HE deserves more.

And it's nice that it's in Philly, hopefully ESPN or a co-feature of an HBO event.
