I’d rather someone like Jared Anderson, Bakole, Frank Sanchez, even a Hrgovic rematch. I like Parker as a person, but him and Ortiz are just nothing fights for a guy who is just waiting on his title shot.

Hrgovic is first in the line for title shot. why would Zhang help Sanchez, Bakole and Anderson to build their careers, nobody knows these guys.

Taking another contender’s unbeaten record is great. Look at what it did for Zhang beating Joyce. Parker is a much bigger name but that’s it really. It’s going to be a laboured fight and probably not fan friendly. I think Bakole/Anderson fights could be marketed really well.

Unless Zhang could make quick work of Parker then it’ll do nothing for him, maybe even hurt his brand/momentum win or lose.
