I'd be a lot more interested in that one if Crawford stops Jermell at 154, and maybe picks up a 160lb title. Realistically he should try for undisputed at 154, and then consider retiring.

"Bud is the same height as Canelo." Mike Tyson is only 2" taller. GTFO with your nonsense. Do you seriously not understand the concept of body composition? For the last time, they're called WEIGHT classes for a reason, not height and reach classes. Bud is not even remotely the same size as Canelo, in ring or out. Please shut up about this asinine mismatch.
I never said anything about Charlo. I never gave charlo any chance to beat canelo.

Watch TC takes the fight and whoop on canelo at 168 imma laugh my ass off at ya boxing experts!

I'm not saying he ever would but Bud moving up 3 weight classes to fight at 168 isn't the same as Floyd and Lara fighting Canelo at 154. If you don't understand that, I don't know what to tell you.
Sure Bud is a much more skilled boxer than Jermell but Jermell is a big 154 lber and won all the titles in that weight class. He's nearly 6 feet tall with an athletic build. Bud is 5'7" with an athletic build. Canelo is built like a tank. Bud would be dramatically outweighed at 168.
Yes and no:1st, you're correct, Canelo had less experience BUT Canelo had the same punching power as he does today. 2nd, Floyd was known for his skills and not his power. The assumption that Floyd and Canelo were close in weight is not accurate, Floyd was 36 and too small to make 154lbs and Canelo was 23 and too big. They eventually agreed to a catch weight at 152lbs.

              Time Line:
Floyd fought Guerro at 147, eight months later he fought Canelo at Jr Middle, then Floyd went back down to to 147 were he fought the majority of his remaining career. After Canelo lost to Floyd he paid penalties for not making 154lb and never made 154lbs again. They were two fighters struggling to meet in the middle and never close in weight or power and the outcome was determined purely upon skill level.

Both Floyd and Crawford win with their skills and not their power or weight. Attempting to back Crawford into the ropes will prove significantly more difficult then it was Charlo and simply teeing off with power doesn't work when the other guy has fast hands and can counter punch. IMO, nothing that Canelo normally does to over power his opponent will work on Crawford. Canelo's advantage will come into play when Crawford decides to exchange and he does like to exchange.

IMO....Styles make fights, Crawford vs Canelo can go the way.

Weight divisions. Don't you know the difference? It doesn't matter you walk around weight, what it matters is in what weight you compete regardless of hight and reach. Most fighters has a weight ceiling, does it occurs to you that Crawford at 36 yo has reached his ceiling? Just like canelo reached his at 175.

Sounds about right but there's not enough time, Crawford will get one or the other but not both. We all know Crawford isn't interested in Charlo without all the belts which means Charlo will need beat Tim at 154 early 2024 ( no rematch clause) Crawford vs Charlo can happen late into 2024 and Canelo vs Crawford in 2025 and that's only if nobody has a rematch clause.

Respectfully, neither Floyd or Lara are power punches, neither punch as hard as Crawford, and yet both beat Canelo up

ya act like fighters never moved up in weight. i know bud has never fought above 147... my point is that TC is NOT a small guy so if he moves up, it's not gonna have a big impact since he's not a small guy to begin with.
