Comments Thread For: Jermell Charlo: I'm Proud of Myself, I Took a Chance

Jermell Charlo talked a big game. For years he told all who would listen that Canelo Alvarez shouldn't be considered his equal. The Mexican star was good but great? Charlo was never willing to go that far.

There's nothing to be proud of after that performance; this line of thinking gives me the impression, Charlo never believed he could win.

This fight was never legit. Charlo, Thurman and Spence are all inactive or under active injured fighters who got cashed in. Charlo being an even bigger prize being he is two weight classes below Canelo. It’s crap like this that I see why more informed boxing fans get so angry when they sell this garbage to the general public.

Salute to Jermell man. 33 yr old 154lber who was on a 17 month layoff and Canelo couldn’t even get him out of there lmao. Canelo embarassed himself that night couldnt even KO a guy 2 divisions below him. Not to mention Canelo is roided to the gills, those who say otherwise see for yourself. Go to VADA’s website and you won’t see that Canelo enrolled to VADA for the Charlo fight.

He lasted the distance , of that he can be proud but there's better fights out there for Canelo .He should leave the little boys alone now.

He should be "proud of himself", he was given a chance that he did not deserve.
He performed just like a loser, and he lost.
Maybe some will make noise to that they will pay to see him 'perform' against PBC stable-mates, (WBO) light-middleweight Tim Tszyu, Errol Spence, of even his twin brother 'Jermall'.

I see it as just more of the same Al Hayman, PBC, Mayweather Promotions bull sheet.
