Danny had the opportunity to push for a Floyd fight and I think that's what Floyd was angling for too by having Danny fight Lucas on his undercard, to line up a potential big fight. But for some reason Danny slow walked his way to 147 and missed his window of opportunity.

His daddy didn't believe in him and crushed dannys aura...at the right time he might've beat both floyd and Manny, if he caught the maidana Floyd or horn Manny who knows

His daddy was scared to see him take a whooping, and that shows in swift top performances swift will play it safe, when he could let his hands go....his daddy drilled take the easy fights big money, but blew the true bags I just don't understand it til this day...

I used to think DSG's counterpunching skill and power could be kryptonite for an aging Pac 6-7 years ago, but, no, Danny would have found some way to lose it. He would have taken his foot off the gas and let Pac set the pace enough for him to squeak out a close but reasonable decision win. Danny is super talented but his ring IQ is pretty damn low for an otherwise elite fighter. He never seems to realize when he's losing rounds.

Someone here said SSG would've beaten Pac and Floyd. LOL! We're not talking Rod Salka here. Manny would've beat Danny up bad. And FMJ? He would've boxed CIRCLES around DSG. If Mosey and ODLH couldn't outbox Floyd, and he reduced them to one punch at a time, imagine DSG by the 7th round. He'd probably say No Mas in his broken Spanish, LOL.

Manny is a leftie, and Danny's money punch is the no-look, counter left hook. It's unlikely that he would have been able to catch Manny with that. Not to mention, Pacquiao's speed would have befuddled DSG.
