Wilder is “far from inconsequential??” He’s fought 1 rd since the Fury pummeling’s. Dude will always exciting to watch when he laces them up, but what are we talking about here? How did Wilder/Helanius do for PPV buys? Wilder is in the wind, he needs to have a sit down with his team to snap back to reality & get a tangible plan in place. I don’t think that guaranteed site free from Africa coming, let’s get the ball rolling elsewhere…

Malik has zero part in whatever negotiations is taking place.
His news come from the same source average Joe gets.
Then he comes up with his own version and make some stuff up.
Nobody knows why he became Wilder's spokesman all of a sudden.
But who else is there to speak for Wilder? Shirley is a private person
who is terrified of media people.

LOL I guess too bad he got knocked out twice then. That kinda takes the steam out of being "on top." Doesn't need to be "on top" to keep knocking out bums.

Malik Scott got knocked out by Wilder when they fought years ago. He is riding Wilder's d$$k. Wilder was a decent heavyweight when he was champion. But he has been inactive since Helenius took a dive after they fought. I don't know how Wilder can become relevant again because he doesn't fight. If Wilder wants to become relevant then he should fight Sanchez and Jared Anderson and beat them. All we see of Wilder is him barking online about fighting Ruiz Jr and arguing about who gets the higher split. Wilder is a good fighter but no longer a championship level fighter. At some point Wilder will become a division gatekeeper but not a main attraction anymore.

Is there really any sense in talking about Wilder when he's hardly seen in the ring? He came back in October last year after one year-long layoff. It's now a year since his comeback fight. And he still has no scheduled fight yet. What exactly is the point?

Okay, Joshua fight gets made, he's victorious, then what? Come back after 2 years? I could see retirement tattooed all over his body. And this Malik character is trying to fool everyone and himself when what he only sees is millions of Saudi riyals.

Too bad that Wilder gets his ass kicked then acts like a crybaby sore loser afterwards.

And hasn’t fought in a year.

Malik Scott is exactly right. Usyk and all the top.heavyweight contenders have avoided and will continue to avoid fighting Deontay Wilder for obvious reasons: he beats all of them and they can get seriously concussed. Only Fury and Ortiz have had the courage to fight him.

If Fury had been counted out after the second knockout in the fourth round of their third fight, the heavyweight division would have been a lot more exciting with Wilder being more active fighting mandatories, and it's possible Usyk would have eventually stepped up and fought him for undisputed.

As it stands, the top fighters will continue to avoid him and boxing fans are missing out on the excitement of Wilder knockouts... They're left with less than spectacular events and lots of unnecessary drama.

You must be ******. Deontay Wilder is the Danny Garcia of the heavyweight division.
Everyone wanted a piece of him and he's been the one saying no to every guy that calls him out.
