No point in arguing with Canelo fans. They wear blinders. Canelo has lost to every elite near their prime fighter he has fought. Floyd, GGG, Bivol. Case can be made he lost to Lara. Multiple weight clauses against guys. Tried to pull cruisers down with weight classes. Pulling little Charlo up, off 16 months inactivity and a broken hand, everyone trying to sell it like a real fight. Lol.

I keep hearing, who else is doing what Canelo is doing? The answer is no one, because no one else can get away with the obvious garbage.

Canelo performed as expected. It was a solid win but certainly not historic based on the parameters you listed. Sulaiman's hype is Trump-like.

Now if he rematched Bivol and did the same thing, or beat Beterbiev, Benavidez, or Morrell, then that would warrant mega-praise.

What are you talking about. He fought a guy that is a Lion, a Dawg, a mother ****en dog, one doing it for the Culture, the one that doesn't kiss ass.

He won't fight Andrade because he fears he would have loss that fight. Fighting guys 2 divisions below him is not the way to go. You have been given real reasons why the Charlo fight is embarrassing for him. Bottom line is that he is a fake wannabe Julio Cesar Chavez who is overhyped. Even the WBC president is holding Canelo's jockstrap. All of the great champions in history have made several defenses of their titles unlike Canelo. Canelo's media hype allows him to fight older guys past their prime and claim to be a top pound for pound fighter. Real boxing fans know the truth about Canelo.
Been making history, even if that hurts you

Hell, forget 168, throw Charlo in with his mandatory at watch him get KTFO. Hell, forget 154, throw Charlo in with Crawford and watch him get KTFO.

Anybody can look good against guy that just stands there and won't fight back.

                  What else ya got?
Not what I meant or said at all

Yes, I never mentioned Robinson. I'm just pointing out there was a period of time where jumping up weight classes wouldn't discredit a victory. I'm not stating the weight had no impact on Alvarez victory but to claim it was the defining factor in his win or why the victory is lackluster is disingenuous.

What’s historic? Other than your never ending love for him.
