Regardless of what emotions you have toward canelo toward charlo and toward sulaimain. What he said is a fact and nothing will ever change that. Canelo made charlo fight the way he fought. Charlo had all the choices available to him to perform however he pleased we all saw what he chose and the reason he chose it was the man in front of him made him do it. Don’t get it twisted

12-0 shutout va a taller longer in his prime current undisputed champion of the same age isn’t that special I guess. 14 pounds erases all the aforementioned. Even though those 14 pounds were gained by the bigger individual lol… crazy how great canelo has become that doing that is nothing. Well, who else doing what canelo is doing? No one

I guess if Mike Tyson had fought and ko’d Bernard Hopkins, we’d be saying he beat a bigger opponent who was taller and longer, correct? Since Hopkins has 2 inches in height and 4 inches in reach over Tyson. Charlo has only fought at 154 while Canelo hasn’t made 154 in 8 years and said he wouldn’t be able to drop even a pound for a catchweight. Height and reach do not equal overall size as clearly canelo was the bigger man who carried more weight. Charlo said he weighed 172 on the day of the fight. Canelo used to weigh 174 when he weighed in at 155 a decade ago. Be logical. And it’s not just the 14 pounds that make the win less impressive, the 16 month layoff following a hand injury plays a role too.

If… yes, also if they were both same age. But ifs are useless kinda uses to try and create a narrative or an agenda to one’s satisfaction. Like in this case, Tyson never even fought anyone under those same circumstances right? It don’t work the same with heavyweights you knoe better then that. If Tyson would of beat a prime longer taller opponent that was undisputed and 14 pounds less heavy before fighting Tyson and weighed the same a career high 14 pounds heavier… lol that ain’t nothing in the heavyweight division, it’d be more impressive for Tyson to have had done that, then that of what canelo did so I get your point but guess what tyson never did that did he? Matter fact no one else has in the history of the sport and that’s what canelos legacy is all about, he’s told everyone time and time again, I’m here to make history. He did that Saturday regardless of your emotions. Maybe if canelo wasn’t so successful you and I wouldn’t debate about the man and his accomplishments and career and maybe I wouldn’t be a fan and you wouldn’t hate on him… maybe. If you could give canelo any props at all what would that be and would you do it? I doubt it. Only if amirite

Yeah, that’s a lot of writing in circles just to avoid saying you’re wrong. Canelo beat a smaller man, two weight divisions below him, coming off an injury, coming off a 16 month layoff, and was a 4-1 favorite because of those factors. What exactly are you finding historic about that?
