Comments Thread For: Eubank Calls Out Canelo, Roasts Charlo's Effort: 'Canelo Needs To Fight Someone ... Who Actually Wants to Win'

Chris Eubank Jr. was apparently revolted by Jermell Charlo's performance against Canelo Alvarez. Last Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Alvarez successfully defended his four 168-pound titles with a surprisingly breezy 12-round decision over Houston's Charlo, the former 154-pound undisputed champion who was moving up two weight classes to take on one of the toughest competitors in boxing.

The only ones that should fight Canelo are the winner of Benavidez vs Andrade or Bivol at 168 if he can make the weight. Anything else is weak.

Why can't these 2nd-3rd tier guys just fight one another? Every single one of them wants the Mexican superstar, who can only fight one guy at a time. It's getting annoying now. Can't these people have no chance of becoming stars themselves without Canelo?

100%. It's a rarity for these b level fighters to fight each other. Shakur vs Martin almost happened.

Good to see Benavidez and Demetrius go at it.

The 2nd and 3rd tier guys likely have a better chance fighting Canelo over a top tier guy who might beat him.

              Is Chris still PBC?

Please, no more 3rd rate Brits or guys from a lower weight class. Canelo vs Benavidez is the only fight that matters for Canelo. Enough of the risk management approach please.

At least Jermell had some hardware, Eubank has yard sale credentials.

I could actually see this happening. Canelo said a few times he wants to box in the UK. Who else has any name value at his weight? Eubank is probably the only one with a profile who could make it feasible.

                    I wouldn’t rule this out.
