    Just another circus fight.

If people entertain Canelo-Crawford, then why is there not talks of Gervonta-Crawford? It's a mega fight as well, and they are only two weight-classes apart instead of three.

People still keep asking senseless questions. Haven't you had enough of these fights with fighters in different divisions?

Can't we focus on other fighters not just Canelo, Canelo, Canelo, Canelo, and now Crawford, Crawford...

There is a reason why there are NO weight classes...

            I think we’re going to see Canelo-Benavidez.

Canelo knows that legacy wise, he has nothing to gain from the Crawford fight, especially after just beating down another smaller man with ease. Financially? Not really. Mexican fans will tune in for Canelo versus whoever, and Crawford isn’t a big crossover draw. He just isn’t. Guaranteed money was lost on Spence-Crawford with the actual PPVs sold.

For Jim Gray to publicly throw out Benavidez’s name in the post fight interview, that means the possibility of this fight is actually being taken seriously. A veteran announcer doesn’t just ad-lib, and Canelo is a proud fighter despite the business side of boxing. I think the fight is perfect for Cinco De Mayo and that’s when it happens.

Canelo will fight Benavidez, if he doesn't he will always be criticized by the Mexican fans. Even in retirement.

If Fury and Usyk made it happend, this guys will.

Canelo might be criticized but he'll always be loved by Mexican fans. He's up there with Julio Cesar Chavez. That's rarefied air. Your right about the best fight being against Benavidez. Especially for purist boxing fans. Canelo will sell that (as he does for most of his fights) as Benavidez isn't as big a draw even though he has excellent boxing skills. There is no one left in the Super Middleweight division for Canelo to really fight. Crawford won't be ****** and move up to 168 for a payday. He doesn't need it. Contrary to what he says, I don't think Crawford would blow up in weight to make this fight happen. Alvarez said he doesn't want to fight another small guy who jumps weight divisions. 147 to 168? Please.

If Canelo moves up to Light Heavyweight, he'll get pounded by both Bivol and Beterbiev. He's just too small and short to defeat those two top light heavyweights. Style wise, Bivol kept him at arms length the entire fight. The scorecards were ridiculous as I didn't have Canelo winning any more that four rounds. That was being generous. Beterbiev knocks out Canelo. Too much power for him. I'd love to see Bivol versus Beterbiev but as usual, the fight can't be made for whatever reason. Money, probably, of course.

Realistically - - how many more fights in Canelo? 2 or 4, assuming he fights twice a year? He's financially secure - - generational wealth accomplished. Legacy? That's cemented. I see a rematch with Bivol going the exact same way as the first fight. Even worse. He has two more fights to fulfill his contract with PBC. Canelo may very well retire after that. I don't think he wants to go out on a losing note.

Crawford must have a death wish asking for this fight. I would think that after Saturday, seeing a bigger Charlo struggle with the weight that he would run far away from this fight. But money talks, and let's get it straight, Crawford has been the one barking about this fight, not Canelo, then Canelo gets criticized for not being interested ( people say he's afraid of Crawford and then when he says he might be interested, people say he's picking on a smaller guy, damn if he does, damn if he doesn't) Canelo would rather fight someone else but hey, if Crawford has a death wish and they are willing to pay him millions and millions of dollars, anybody would be ****** not to take that opportunity. Any person on this website would not turn down big money if an opportunity is presented to you, if you do, you are the dumbest MF around.....

Showtime Sports president Stephen Espinoza said the fight is a desirable one and he’d be keen on setting it up.

'IF' Canelo was into taking chances, which he is not, after his fight with Mayweather and Bivol, Bud does not have a chance for that fight to be made.
