All those 2 have to do is petition their orgs. They have to answer. End of story

Canelo signs 3 fight deal with Showtime/CBS and CBS owned website and gives Canelo the top spot after beating a 154 pounder.

      Sounds about right.

Can assure that’s no influence. Think you can see that in all the quarterlies going back a couple years

          We need to be consistent.

If people big up Crawford for the version of Spence that showed up, we need to big up Canelo for the version of Charlo that showed up. And Charlo was a undisputed champion that didn't fight like one. Not Canelo's fault, but he gets the credit.

Remember, people upped Teofimo for the version of Loma that showed up, but didn't up Sandor Martin for the version of Teofimo that showed up and didn't up Devin for the version of Loma that showed up.

          We need to be consistent.
How can you compare Canelo fighting a guy two weight classes below coming from a long lay off and a hand injury that was brokem in two places to Crawford beating Errol Spence in his division?

What kind of nonsense is this?

            Charlo didn’t show up.
Spence didn’t show up. And by the way, long layoff. Be consistent.
            Teofimo didn’t show up.
            Loma didn’t show up.
            Dubois didn’t show up.
Eubank didn’t show up in the first fight.
Smith didn’t show up in the second fight.

it’s all the same. Bottom line.

If the victor got the credit in one, they all should. Or none should.

Spence did show up. He got beaten badly. Charlo didnt. There is no comparison between the two.

I am not taking credit away from Canelo by being honest about Charlo’s performance. I have yet to criticize Canelo. In another thread I credited him with making Charlo scared to risk winning.

Im not sure what you’re saying. I took nothing away from any winner based on the opponent.

              I am being consistent.

I get it, but it just seems hard to give credit to a fighter for beating an opponent who didn't show up. But we MUST give him credit, because the victor's skill and presence are what contributed to the opponent not showing up.

You know damn well that Errol Spence should not have been rocked off a jab.

He didn’t show up. Physically OR mentally.

I disagree. He got hit harder than expected.

My point is he showed up. He tried, but got beaten by a better fighter. Nothing he did worked. Je kept truing though and that is why he got kod.

Charlo didn’t even try to win. He decided early in round 1 that a wide UD loss was better tham trying to win and get kod.

If you seriously believe that a guy who ate constant No Look Hooks from Danny Swift and bombs from Shawn Porter without even wobbling should have been rocked and dropped multiple times from a jab, by a guy who got his eye closed from a jab and lost all four rounds to the ghost of Kell Brook, was legit in the fight, you're a mark brother. That's all that needs be said.
