Here’s why I think Canelo/Crawford is unlikely to happen

Won’t be about money. I certainly don’t think either guy would actively avoid each other.

    Its really about timing.

Bud is 36. For a while now he has barely fought once a year. Last week Espinoza said the Crawford/Spence rematch won’t happen until next year.

So Bud is going to beat Spence again at 147 or 154. Then what? Take Charlo’s undisputed at 154. When would that happen? In 2025? Now bud is 38 or close to it.

Or he beats Spence again at 147 or 154 then jumps 2 or 3 weight classes for a Canelo fight? He doesn’t seem like the type of guy to do that.

At his age and lack of activity I think it’s unlikely to happen or if it does Crawford would be on the downside.

Crawbum can't be undisputed cause WBO took Jermell's belt. He will fight Spence again and then will beg on Canelo for retirement cash.

He already said he won't fight Jermell. He gonna end his joke career in a joke way.

We need to talk about other fighters doe, give them a chance to do it on their own. We need lots of stars in this sport, not just one, two... There are hundreds of fighters, not just 2, 3... And there are 52 weeks in a year, which 2 star fighters can't all cover for just fighting once or twice a year.

I get why it’s being talked about but yeah I don't see it ever happening.

Hope it happens. I’m craving an actual solid matchups between two top-tier operators. Feels like it’s been ages.

Agh you’re right. Forgot he got stripped last night.
Still it’s unlikely he makes that jump up to 168 that quickly.

Could it be the sheeity performance of Charla? Whose far bigger than lil Bud? Weight classes excise for a reason kids.

It's unlikely to happen because Crawford would be jumping up 3 weight classes for a suicide matchup.
