At 135, dude was a legit boogeyman for a minute.

At 147 he was a punching bag.
Rios was a hype job. It was so obvious.

    Like Chavez Jr at 160.

Why is this constant nonsense being talked about between fighters who are 2 and 3 weight classes apart from each other?
Most people are not boxing fans. They value names, they want to see two ppl who's names they hear a lot fight each other. You know like Floyd Mayweather should fight Muhammad Ali. They played Fight Night & think they know boxing. They picked fighters to fight with from different weight classes to live out there mythical fantasies. Forgetting these are actual human beings, not you select whatever weight class at any given time & fight there cause you have talent at your current weight.

They forgot when Bud said Canelo was shying away from black fighters. & who he meant was Big Charlo & Andrade. His trainer Bomac said Canelo wouldn't fight Andrade either. Has he fought him? Yea I ain't think so. Bud said Andrade was one of the most talented fighters he ever seen. Why the professionals don't say what you "fans" say?

Like who y'all think Andrade is. Andrade could hardly get fights at his own weight classes. & dudes under him wouldn't dare come up & do anything. Name me a proven top fighter from 47 or 54 that would mention they wanted to go up & do something with Andrade. Lol you dudes are crazy.
One guy went up a weight class and got 8 stoppages in a row. Andrade went up to 168 and might get stopped by Benavidez. If we're going off either p4p or accolades it's pretty logical.

I’d imagine the style matchup alone is more problematic here. Not that I have watched Andrade in years. Longer, heavier guy who likes to run and fight negatively. Why Wallin over Gassiev was such an easy pick. Short punching bag who looks for a haymaker vs a much longer and heavier guy who knows how to maintain range. That was an upset somehow.

Yeah you're right. Andrade is better than Bud because of what happened in the amateurs, fifteen years ago. Everyone from 154 to 168 has been terrified of Demetrius "trips over my own feet and would go 12 rounds with a broom" Andrade.

David Price is better than Tyson Fury too. He was picked over Tyson in 2008 just like Andrade was picked over Bud. Forget what happened in the 15 years that followed, 2008 in the amateurs is what really counts!

                      The answer is no.

Remember when folks wanted Floyd to go to 160 and fight GGG?

                      Pepperidge Farm remembers.
