I don’t think Canelo looked that impressive last night.

Well bivol is the first guy to dominate nelo in 10 years so there is that. all these other guys at 168 are pretty much bivol's size but they dont have the sense of distance, timing and speed that bivol has. Most guys have height and reach on nelo, basically everyone hes fought in the last 6+ fights and none of them did what bivol did.

No, he will be the shorter guy. He is wide AF. Full, back is massive. Stop with the misleading "HE'S ONLY 5'8 HE'S SO SMALL!!!" bull****.

He can't make 154. He can't make 160. He's a full fledged SMW. Stop with the nonsense. You just make yourself look like a ****** when you say he's fighting at 168 because he "doesn't want to cut weight"

yeah he clearly weighed more than Charlo on fight night. You can look at their weigh in and see who is more dehydrated and its canelo by a good margin. I dont believe him to be 5'8 either he is closer to 5'6.5 or 5'7''

Canelo was a former Light Heavyweight Champion, Charlo had never fought above 154.

Nelo was 147 and 154 before too. But charlo will unlikely to down to 154 again and more likely to be 175 by end of career.
Charlo also had height and reach, jmm didn't with floyd, and again charlo likely will go higher in weight whereas jm m wouldnt.
I can't say charlo is naturally smaller

Charlo was soft in the midsection as well. He should have just come in his usual weight and fought with speed. Canelo struggles with hand speed and foot speed. Why come in slow and pudgy?

And yeah, I really miss the Ring Weights that HBO used to give us.

not impressed with canelo not making any type of adjustments
I couldn’t agree more with everything you said. I can’t ad much just reinforce your comments. Canelo looked better physically he has in a while, you could see it in his back. He didn’t have the lip around his waist like he did vs Bivol. He was punching hard, but he was still low volume and not very dynamic. I only want to see Canelo fight Benevidez or Beterbiev. Every single boxer who was interviewed leaving the arena was seemed pissed off for having been there.

That was my impression as well - massive change since e.g. the Cotto fight. To be fair, that was a long time ago, he moved up in weight in the meantime, and became a power puncher. I guess you just can't have both - same goes for Fury (just compare the Klitschko and Wilder 1 fights to his last few fights).
