so him calling out Bud right there at the interview with Jim Gray tells me that he's convinced himself that the only reason he lost was because he wasn't meant to fight at 168. he also said he's going back to 154, so there it is folks. He's telling himself that he doesn't have to change anything to beat Bud, he just needs to move back down to 154.

Bud is gonna knock him out.

and that's why fighters move gradually through weight classes. even Canelo built himself up from 154 slowly because it's the smart thing to do. you have to get used to fighting bigger men gradually, it doesn't matter how big somebody looks on the eye when one is so much more used to fight at the higher weight against fighters that size.

I'm sure Canelo is the better fighter regardless in this one but the point is still valid

Agreed. Canelo is the bigger and better fighter. That 20 month layoff didn’t help Jermell either.
Hopefully we get Benavidez next. That’s the only fight anyone has ever asked for in the past 2 years

Maybe charlo won a round... but IMO that was about it. Didn't even have the guts to let it all
hangout for likely the biggest crowd and biggest payday of his career. Go back to JMW, kid.
