Comments Thread For: Erickson Lubin Secures Controversial Decision Win Over Jesus Ramos

Erickson Lubin's lack of offensive effectiveness appeared as if it would cost him on the scorecards Saturday night. Judges Patricia Morse Jarman (117-111), John McKaie (116-112) and Chris Migliore (115-113) unanimously disagreed. They all somehow scored his 12-round, 154-pound elimination match against Jesus Ramos for Lubin, who landed 53 fewer punches overall than Ramos according to Showtime's unofficial punch stats.

                  ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????????????

over the course of the fight, i was yelling 4 things at the TV, over and over again:
                  in order:
                  THROW SOMETHING!
                  GET OFF THE ROPES!!
                  STOP HOLDING HIS ARM!!!
                  and finally...
                  YOU DESERVE TO LOSE!!!!

i cant believe he won that, with that performance.
horrible decision, i thought the scores went the other way!

Lubin fought conservatively and frustrated Ramos. Don’t think he won but gaps in Ramos game were definitely exposed.
