Split it all right down the middle or winner gets 60%, loser gets 40%.

    Make it happen.
How exactly would it be an act of greed if it did not happen?

What sort of act would it be if the fight was made - generosity?

I don't see how regular people - presuming you are a regular working or middle class person - get so hyped up about these big cash fights. Sure, some of them are good fights that need to get made. But Pac-May? Nah, I don't particulary want to see that and I certainly wouldn't pay for it. Just because they're the biggest names doesn't mean the fight will be any good. And in my view, such a fight would be underwhelming. Give me May-Mosley, May-Cotto, May-Williams, or Pac-Marq III, Pac-Mosley, Pac-Valero (what the hell...) any day. If Pacquiao demolishes Cotto, such a fight might pique my interest, but I don't see that happening.

Well if pacquiao can't get passed cotto. Cotto / mayweather would be a far much more intruiging match up.

This is 2001 all over again. The Trinidad vs Roy Jones talk was all over the place, Everyone was talking about Trinidad vs Jones Jr and people disrespected Hopkins and overlook him like he was some bum that was going to lay down and let Tito have his super fight with Jones.

Hasn't Miguel expressed dissatisfaction with TR for awhile now?
He signed an extension to the contract this year on condition that the Pac fight was made. I don't think he can pull out of it now without paying Arum a lot of compensation.

This fight should be at 140 or no fight. It's like taking advantage of your weight and beating 2-3 divisions lower than you. It's funny FLoyd gets a shot by beating all the smaller fighters and doesn't have to risk by fighting any legitimate strong WW.

Pacquiao will bust his ass and embarrass him like a crybaby. FLoyd's an idiot

If Pac doesn't beat Cotto, Mayweather would fight Cotto or Mosley, not Pac. So what you seem to be saying is, in effect, that the fight won't pique your interest unless it happens.

I wouldn't put it past Mayweather to try to get a fight with Pacquiao even if Cotto beats him. He did the same thing when Judah lost to Baldomir. And meanwhile Arum will match Cotto in a Margarito rematch.

The FMJ vs Judah fight was signed before he lost to Baldomir. Since Judah lost to Baldomir he took less money than the contract stated.

I agree, as a Pac fan I'm ashamed of Arum. The guy shouldn't be talking like that. .
