    why?

if it did pac would weigh in at 146 and on fight night weigh in at 148
mayweather would weigh in at 147 and on fight night would weigh in around 152-153 (im assuming).

    imo
if the fight happens @ 147 pac should get 55/45.
    I see another catchweight happening.

Shane already said he'd be more interested in facing Mayweather as oppose to Pacquiao. Go to the video section and see. Pacquiao will be left to either rematch Cotto or face a no namer.

We have to wait to see if Pac even gets by Cotto.
If he doesnt then its all over
if he does then he needs to wait and see what the numbers are. If they beat Floyd JMM then a 50-50 is what would be right
if he falls short then he is going to have to settle for 55-45 at least.

If Pac May is made then I pray that the boxer I hate the most ever in life (Floyd) ***s up mannys shi t to the point he pisses blood and gets Hattoned in the middle of the ring so Floyd can stand over his corpse like manny did to hatton

Dude, Pacquiao would then be the WBO champion, having beat Cotto. If that doesn't establish him as an elite WW and Pacquiao still feels the need to bring everyone down to catch weight; Then I'm calling Pacquiao, "Manny The Catch Weight *****". I'd have every right to.

                No, sir.

Mosley is a GBP fighter, and PBF has been fighting in a GBP alliance. Don't you think Oscar would MUCH rather make the M-M fight?

Also, the perception is that Shane is too big for Pac.

And GBP would run into the same negotiating problems for a Mosley fight that they would with the Hatton and DLH (and Mayweather) bouts. What would change?

Only way pacquiao can rightly ask for a 50-50 deal is if pac vs cotto does better than numero uno. If it fails to reach a million, pac has to swallow his pride & take the lesser %.

But if pac vs cotto does better than numero uno, significantly better, then this fight will be headed for harder negotiations than a israeli/*********** peace deal & more than likely not be made.
I'm shocked at this post. I must be on something.

Yes but..talk is cheap...Money talks. Shane wants a payday, thats what all this is about. Hopkins said to Shane something like "you need to speak up to eat". Pac could be that payday for Shane if Shane and May cannot, for whatever reason, see their way to fight each other.

That's given the unlikely scenario where Pac both beats cotto (very possible), and then can't resolve negotiations with May...

My only point is there are several possibilities

                      What's the difference?

Does it really make a difference if they make 50-50. Both of these fighters are going to break the bank. Pac must defeat Coto first. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.
