Again genius, the sanctioning bodies WONT LET Bivol & Beterbiev unify because of the Ukraine/Russia conflict. They tried to fight already.

And he got no credit for fighting Bivol because he was fighting him because he thought he was vulnerable, as opposed to Beterbiev, who most people thought would maul him.

Secondly, he is ducking Bivol at 168 because he knows Bivol will take his belts there, too.

The real question is, would you give Bivol credit if he beats Canelo at 168 too.

Truth is Canelo can't risk fighting Bivol at 168 because he'd potentially lose all the belts and would just be another contender with no belts, and all the belts within reach in the hands of Bivol and Beterbiev.

Bivol didn't insist on 168. He wanted a shot at Canelo's belts, but he offered a catchweight with a rehydration clause for himself. Canelo's offer of the same terms to the guy who already beat him just gives him an excuse to claim that Bivol didn't want the fight, and people like you eat it up. Canelo never wanted the rematch. If he did, it would have happened. Or do you honestly think that "Mr A-Side" himself couldn't have made the fight happen if he really wanted it? Could have made a better offer if he wanted it at 175, could have had a catchweight, could have done it at 168. Could have gone after Beterbiev and gotten the belts at 175 that Bivol wants. Instead he fought a 154 lb guy.

Listen, “genius,” Sulaiman has said that Bivol can file a petition if he has a grievance with the WBC ruling about Ukraine/Russia. That’s exactly what Bivol should be doing, actually trying and making an effort to pursue the fight he wants. If he truly does want it which as of now looks suspect.

You have no way of knowing that Canelo fought Bivol just “because he thought he was vulnerable.” That’s simply an assumption on your part. An assumption which you choose to make because it puts Canelo in a negative light.

In any case, Canelo pursued the rematch…so what is your excuse for that? Did he only do it because he thought Bivol looked vulnerable against Zurdo Ramirez?

GTFO with these ******, biased takes of yours.

Strange that Canelo hadn't a clause in the contract to say he gets to pick the weight for a rematch

He's pursuing the fight at 175 AGAIN, so he has an excuse when he loses AGAIN.

Bivol has said that he wants the fight at 168, and as the guy who actually won the first fight easily, he should have that right.

And Beterbiev is the WBC champion, genius. He's the one who should be filing a petition, if there's a problem with the WBC, right?

With your logic, Beterbiev is the one actually ducking, isn't he?

He has already tested the water at 175, how can you give him credit for fighting at his weight. Also, he was the favorite and the judges were ready to rob bivol, like other fights he had where he he had lost in the ring but won on the cards. You guys crown him the best fighter ever because he beat Kovalev, I'm not going to mention the circumstances of the fight, we all know, in your words he was ready to beat berteviev, bivol and usyk at a catchweight. So when it goes his way we praising him, but if he fails under the same circumstances, it is not his fault, he is to small, he thought it was a full moon, he forgot his favorite food at home, a lot of praise when he beats a drunken over trained with the law catching up to him, or a domestic level, but if he lost, here comes the excuses truck.

                Canelo actually fought Bivol.

When are Bivol and Beterbiev going to fight? It’s embarrassing that a guy coming from lower weight classes has more balls than they do.

Oh ok. So when Canelo fought Bivol the first time it was only because he thought he was vulnerable. And when Canelo pursued a rematch with Bivol there’s something wrong with that too…because he insisted it be at the same weight as the first fight.

There’s always some angle from people like you to shlt on Canelo no matter what he does. Yet I don’t see anywhere near the same energy for Bivol vs Beterbiev to fight just one time, let alone twice. The bias is obvious.

Yes he did, but stop with the small narrative. He never fights anyone that have an advantage over him. He makes sure he is the one with advantage.

The issue wasn't the weight, was money. He offered the same pay and bivol counter with let's do it at 168, canelo say no, 175 under the same terms, bivol answered by saying you need to pay me more I won the first fight, actually he show more class than canelo by not whoring himself.
