Anybody knows why Jermell Charlo is so mad at Tim Tzsyu? Just wondering who he actually wants at 154 before Tzsyu came into existence.

Tim Ta-Zoo is not a very good nickname. He could've easily called him Tim Kazoo, after one of the silliest and most useless of all instruments. Also Tim Tissue or Tim Digeridoo after the horrible Aussie monotonous instrument of the same.Comment

He's not mad at Tszyu, he's just sick of hearing the snide remarks from Timmy and his fans about a delusional ducking narrative, and that he's not on Cinnabon's level when it comes to boxing. Charlo is just ridiculing the guy that is throwing shots his way. It's called fighting back until that day actually comes.Comment

I don't think he wanted anyone aside from Tzsyu. The Towering Inferno just massacred Lubin at that time and I don't think Charlo wanted that smoke also. He probably wanted a long vacation, maybe a year, and come back when everyone fought one another. He's been fighting once a year for the last 3 years, so any change is tough.
