Thats behind all the elite top liners, rarely have they ever fought 3 times a year once they become a superstar because of the sheer magnitude of the events, the only blueprint here is modern boxing.

Except Gervonta has only had 1 big fight in terms of superstar status and he wasn't the star of that one.

Everyone wants to follow the Mayweather plan for fighting twice a year, shame for the fans. I know Gervonta was locked up for being a hood rat but that's only this year, before that was was the excuse?

He fought 2 times in 2023
He fought 1 time in 2022
He fought 2 times in 2021
He fought 1 time in 2020

Go look at more guys. This isn't unusual these days. The avg turn around these days for top ten guys is 8mos which is 3 fights every 2yrs like Tank is doing.
