Dude, you weren't rob or anything. You were outclassed. That's like Spence saying he feels he's still best at 147. The world saw the fight, and we don't believe you, Josh.

He looked slower than I have ever seen him in his last fight. He probably underestimated his opponent and took for granted the he would have a spectacular performance in front of his hometown. But, this is different. Prograis knows the level of skill his opponent brings, as well as the amount of attention that the fight will garner. That's a different type of motivation to bring a different type of smoke.

The Prograis that KO Jose and went to what should have been a draw against Taylor, drops and stops Haney.

Josh get off that bull**** trip that you're on, you're nowhere near the best at 140, and you would fair even worse at 147.
Your best bet right now is to stay active, and remain at 140, to see who you can beat in the division.
Maybe you can earn a shot Prograis, after you secure a few notable wins, if you can even do that, and if Prograis is still champion at that time.
Neither of those scenarios are a guaranteed, because your both standing on shaky ground as far as your boxing careers are concerned.

I mean when he got outboxed and out thought by teo and by catteral that kinda derailed him being the best 140lb fighter in the world.. I can see him staying here at 140 because there's money fights possibly but he should be fighting at 147 going forward.. wouldn't even mind seeing him against Benn or somebody if he wants a big payday if the eubank fight don't materialise for Benn

We'll see, but I don't find much value in comparing his performances against fighters with completely different styles and attributes . The Zepeda win is Prograis' most impressive win, but Zepeda isn't Haney (and I cannot stand Haney). There are a number of fans who think the Taylor-Prograis fight was close, but I'm not one of them. In my eyes, JT bullied and outboxed Prograis all night and won comfortably. I think Haney is going to win a surprisingly easy UD.

I agree Haney wins. Using Haney's last fight as a measure to how this fight will play out holds no water. Loma and Haney are comparable in skills so that fight will be close no matter how many times they fight. Prograis is powerful but isn't a skilled fighter at Haney's level. Haney will fight his usual fight, Jab, distance, hold and cruise to a unanimous decision. I hope am wrong 'cos Prograis is more likeable than Haney but I think it plays out that way.

Taylor is right. Can't discount Haney. Too young, too fast...
Zepeda gave Prograis a real fight and he was about to run out of gas in the last rounds.
But Zepeda just beat him in emptying his gas tank sooner.

Aw man, he's not been the same since Ken Buchanan died. He needs to jump to 147, couple of easy knockovers, few therapy sessions to get that ego under control, then maybe he can go for something winnable at world level, NOT elite. Can't believe he lost to the motivational speaker. And poor Catterall who doesn't have the personality to build on his win/robbery. All the same, some great performances from JT, be good to see him leave us with a bit of dignity.

I have a feeling taylor has serious mental health issues, the guy is off his rocker and truly deluded.

Taylor is done at 140 he looked big in the ring against Lopez and was slow and sluggish, 147 is opening up soon he needs to move up and start getting acclimated to the new weight class before looking for an eliminator in 2024.

Taylor is a quality fighter, arrogant and delusional but he's a quality fighter a southpaw with good ring IQ who fought good competition from the start of his career. He has the frame for 147 and I wouldn't mind seeing him in against someone like Avanesyan or Egis.

Haney vs Prograis is a toss up for me, Haney doesn't have power but he is faster than Prograis and is fresher, if he implements a good plan and can find a way to neutralize the left hand he can have success. Lomachenko couldn't miss with the left hand in their fight so I give Prograis a punchers chance but Regis isn't no Loma either so it remains to be seen if he can land it with the same success. I do know that Prograis will be the biggest puncher Haney has faced in his entire career, so let's see how he handles it.

Hopefully Regis does what he says he's going to do and comes out pressing and swinging from the start that's really his best chance because if not I could see this getting dragged out into a fight full of clinches and resets where Haney will get the upper hand being at distance.
