First of all, that canelo was a counter puncher versión, he was a 100% counter puncher fighter.

He did not put pressure before Floyd.

For example he outboxed Trout, counterpunching.

After the Floyd fight, canelo trained to put pressure.

You said Floyd danced all night vs Canelo. I'm just saying he didn't dance, he just beat him up. And if I'm being honest, yes Floyd has always made good use of the ring when he boxed, yes he moved his feet, used lateral movement to confuse his opponent, but he wasn't a runner. He pretty much could stand there and beat up most ppl, while avoiding their punches, when he chose to stand there. He moved too much against ppl like The Child Rapo Baldomir, and some others, but overall he would beat dudes up and be right in front of them.
