Manny trains at the Wild Card gym 90% of the time, is a national celebrity and a superstar in America, fights in America, and has been doing press/giving thousands of interviews in english (for over 6 years) and yet the guy still has a hard time stringing more then a few words together that don't involve "i want to do a good show for the fans". he does train in the wild card gym the majority of the time...but how many months is that for every fight ...what mostly 3 months?

So because he has parkinsons we're supposed to treat him differently then everybody else? I give him props for how he deals with his illness, but that doesnt change the fact that he's an attention whore. Roach would be insulted if he read your post.

The bolded might be one of the dumbest statements i'v read on this site. If he's training at the Wild Card gym, that means he's staying in America which i'm not sure if you're aware of this, is an english speaking country. He doesnt lock himself into the gym 24/7 with no contact with the outside world while he trains there.

Only 3 weeks of the year? You can lie to yourself but you can't lie to me. He'll usually spend 8 or 9 weeks alone training in California when he has a fight coming up and he usually fights 3 times per year. And we're not talking about JMM, Barrera, or Morales, we're talking about Manny who spends 10X more time in America then the fighters you named, unlike them is a household name here, and unlike them has been practicing his english in interviews and with the Americans in his entourage as well as his American business partners for well over 6 years.

wtf are you talking about, Morales currently lives in San Diego and has for YEARS. Barrera lives in or trains in TJ, and Im sure he's spent 10x more time in American than Manny. . Manny is thousands of miles away and just arrived 6 years ago, and youre expecting him to speak better english than all of them? whats their excuse?. Margarito was born in the US and also lives in TJ, yet Ive never heard him speak a word of English. It is a fact all of them have spent more time in the US than Manny.


Manny practices english in his interviews so he should be better? ... Is that where he has the advantge over Morales/Barrera/Margarito? he does more interviews? is that a ****in joke or are you ******ed? He at least attempts to, but the other 3 resort to translators. Nothing wrong with that, it's just youre knocking Manny for speaking English. Manny spends most of his time trainning in the US, who at the very least attempts English while the other 3 mentioned dont attempt to speak a lick.
