Manny trains at the Wild Card gym 90% of the time, is a national celebrity and a superstar in America, fights in America, and has been doing press/giving thousands of interviews in english (for over 6 years) and yet the guy still has a hard time stringing more then a few words together that don't involve "i want to do a good show for the fans". That's called slang, big difference between that and practically living in America for over 5 years and still not being able to conjugate a proper sentence.

Not to mention Mayweather handles his own career, runs Mayweather promotions and his own record label, and is a master promoter of fights where as Manny leaves his career in the hands of Freddie Roach and Bob Arum because he's not smart enough to make his own decisions. The bolded might be one of the dumbest statements i'v read on this site. If he's training at the Wild Card gym, that means he's staying in America which i'm not sure if you're aware of this, is an english speaking country. He doesnt lock himself into the gym 24/7 with no contact with the outside world while he trains there.

Only 3 weeks of the year? You can lie to yourself but you can't lie to me. He'll usually spend 8 or 9 weeks alone training in California when he has a fight coming up and he usually fights 3 times per year. And we're not talking about JMM, Barrera, or Morales, we're talking about Manny who spends 10X more time in America then the fighters you named, unlike them is a household name here, and unlike them has been practicing his english in interviews and with the Americans in his entourage as well as his American business partners for well over 6 years.

Does anyone else find it odd that Freddie "The Joke Coach" Roach is behind the camera more then any boxer in the sport when he's nothing more then a half decent trainer clinging onto a top level fighter (who should've gotten rid of him years ago)?

During fight week for Mayweather/Piss mouth i saw more Roach interviews circulating TV and the net then May and Marquez combined. Thats a shocking statistic, and even more disturbing is the fact that it's like that every week. Just look around this forum, you'll see more Roach interviews posted daily then Mayweather, Pacquiao, Mosley, Cotto, and every other boxing trainer in the sport combined. The guy is obviously addicted to the limelight which sucks for us because for someone who forces himself into the public eye so often he doesnt bring a shred of personality or charisma with him.

Someone needs to tell him to learn to play the background and let his fighters do the talking/play the role of the superstar. Between him and that no soul having crook Bob Arum, Manny has chosen some shakey characters to associate himself with. Almost makes you have to question his judgement for letting Roach leech off him for so long and for not hopping off the sinking ship known as the Wild Card gym years ago.

Freddie's English and Pacman's English are like a little bit the same... so they stick together. When they speak in front of the cameras, they have subtitles... because they are related to each other. Their grandma's grandma is an Eskimo.
