Exactly... I'm up for paying and watching good fights hence why I said watch a amateur contest...... but surely we wanna see who sits at the top of the tree..... I'll pay to watch a good boxing match but if a world champion boxer would rather box a mma guy than defend his title ain't their a problem ???.

There are always going to be fights that fans want.

As fans we should always express our wants and interests. That’s what we are in this for, not for maximizing risk-reward for promoters. Or cheering for anyone’s pocketbook.

And of course you got to draw a box around the top guys and the world champions otherwise we just watching a boxing match.....my point entirely Is fury doesn't fight to defend his title and doesn't relinquish it.....we can watch all othe quality boxers fight and yes I want to but as soon as they become world champions and let's face it at times their are several of them they don't want to fight each other.

The top guy is the guy who doesnt lose. For example. If Wilder or AJ loses...why do i want to see them against each other? I want to see Wilder or AJ vs some other undefeated fighter to see if they can return to the top. The division only moves when you remove contenders. When you allow for fighters to decide opponents based on money vs ranking or contention status then nobody else gets the chance to prove their actual worth. Fight mandatories and move on. If you lose...go back down the line. Big **** is the prime example here. Hes proven his worth...but he likely wont get his shot based on risk/reward. That simply means....he cant afford to buy his way to a shot. I say....get back to the risk...regardless of the "financial" reward. Once upon a time the reward was being known as being the best of the best.
