Pac is not going to run over Cotto I believe. When I think
of this fight, I think of how Cotto pressured Zab and wore
him out and cut off the ring. This fight should be great but
I just think Cotto will hurt Pac. Pac has a chance especially
since he has Roach in his corner but am leaning towards the
bigger a good skilled Cotto rather than just thinking he will
    win because he is bigger.
You can not pressure a fighter who is so slick! And yeah, he will not run away from Cotto but you will no expect him to stand in front of Cotto and trade shots either! He is just within the face of Cotto buzzing around with his awkward lateral movements and hitting Cotto oftentimes from nowhere. Less power for Pac?? Cotto would lose if he believes on this, he should expect pac as powerful puncher in the WW, and Cotto is not quite bigger here, they almost stand the same with a half inch difference! The bottom line is, the one hit by a solid shot will most likely would go down as loser afterall. And the slick would hit first!!!

      Actually...not really.

If you watch 24/7 Nacho was behind his man, but he always signified it would be an uphill battle by pushing Marquez to develop far more speed, and warning Marquez about Mayweather several times

He was never a Freddie Roach type of confident about JMM, imo

I mean he even distanced himself from JMM like a week before the fight, going into the corner of some less important fighter, before he came back. That, to me, is not the behavior of one who is positive his fighter will win

Manny is indeed fast and has angles but Cotto knows how to cut
the ring off and he is a better pressure fighter than a defensive
fighter and that's why I said Manny would have a good chance pressuring Cotto and backing him up or making him miss and countering him. When Manny is in dire situations he gets ballsy, throws his hands up and goes in. In my oponion, his style is tailor made for Cotto and vice versa. This fight will depend on who can hurt who first and the worse. I believe Pac hits hard but I also believe that Cotto hits harder and I am a lil more confident that Cotto can take Manny shots but can Manny take his? We have seen Cotto hit and hurt by bigger guys but weather it in some form or another, can't say the same about Manny.

Cotto can't win a decision vs Pacquiao. In the first three round, if Cotto hasn't hurt Pacquiao he's doomed. Pacquiao can take a punch, he can box for 15 round if he needed too so late fades won't help Cotto this time around. Pacquiao also throws allot more than Cotto ever did.
I say Pacquiao by TKO or corner stoppage. And Cotto will get cut needless to say.

i am glad to hear that an accomplished trainer also sees the improvements in pac. im tired of posters blaming comp as the reason he has looked better in recent fights. you must be blind not to see that pac is a more well rounded fighter, and is a hard fight for anyone in the world. movement, punch choice and defence are on point at the moment. this is why pac mayweather will be close.

I guess thats why Marquez lost. It was a Right Machete vs a LEft Missile

I have respect for Nacho but who is he to say what Cotto can't do when he has never had any of his fighters fight Cotto. He said that Marquez could beat Mayweather Jr. He also did a horrible job of training Oscar for Manny. His words are hard to consider right now.

But also STYLES MAKE FIGHTS. Marquez DID NOT have the style to slow, hurt, confuse, nor bother Floyd.

Put Pac in the ring with Floyd and I guarantee we see a whole other fight. Not only were all the advantages (height, weight, speed, etc.) with Floyd but also the style of Marquez wasnt good enough to beat Floyd.

Pac on the other hand has an aggressive come forward style speed, power, and also being a Southpaw. Pac can fight at WW and we all seen how his style matches up in higher weight classes unlike JMM.

Im seeing a repeat of Pac vs. DLH where Pac stick and moves throughout the night turning Cotto and making it impossible to hit Pac. Pac will land bombs quickly move to the side and land more.

I aint counting Cotto out NO WAY IN HELL will I do that, but the only chance I give Cotto is IF works the body early and Pac decides to stand in front of Cotto (which Clottey did too much). Pac will not stand in front of Cotto at all. His footwork will is to good at this point. He bounces in and out and moves left and right.

                    Lets talk GRUSTLER.

                    Nov. cant come sooner.
Floyd wud make PAC look ridiculas
