Comments Thread For: Robeisy Ramirez Wants To Unify With Luis Alberto Lopez: "Champion vs. Champion"

Luis Alberto Lopez isn't the middling featherweight contender he once was. With the IBF strap d****d over his shoulders, the 30-year-old is in a groove.

That could be a potential heck of a fight, and would take another belt off the board. I like this fight.

If this fight gets made soon, it’ll be the first in a while that I’ll be excited about. And how often do two prime champs go at it these days? This will be one to look forward to. Just hoping Robeisy takes out his next opponent, Espinoza, in impressive fashion.

Seriously, these boxing sites could use better writers. I wonder where they find these guys.

Themistode is the worst. I can't stand his writing.

It's a great fight though. Smart of them to unify, because the unified champ is likely to get a shot at an Inoue payday if he comes through Tapales.

I think a technician like Ramirez picks Lopez apart. I'm not so sure he stops him. He might because I see him figuring out Lopez unorthodox style and punishing it . His fighting IQ is better than all of Lopez opponents previously.

Yes, he's a pretty dreadful writer. Cliff Rold and that other clown are not much better. They all try to emulate Bert Sugar, but fall painfully short. It's a good sign that both Lopez and Ramirez are vocal about wanting the fight. They both know that the winner slides right into a big money Inoue fight when Monster moves up next year. Inoue will crush Tapales.

Meh. It’s an online boxing site; how much could these guys get paid? I’m not expecting sparkling prose. What bothers me to no end is the way this place will milk a simple story, that can be told in one installment, and break it into three headlines. I get it that there isn’t always real boxing news, but it’s so obvious that it’s irritating.
