Comments Thread For: Thurman on Crawford Feud: I Got Love for You, Kid; Life Is Too Short To Hate

Keith Thurman isn't too interested in feuding with an apparently aggrieved Terence Crawford. Crawford, the undisputed welterweight champion from Omaha, Nebraska, recently went off on a multi-post rant on social media, taking aim particularly at former welterweight titlists Thurman and Danny Garcia.

Thurman, the most insignificant panderers to ever lace up gloves. How long ago did Pacquaio kick his ass? And he's acting relevant? lol...What a beggar

First he gets on the third person kick , now he's calling everyone "kid" ....I liked you better when you were a fighter Keith. Are you thinking about unretiring ?

It's like Keith doesn't realize 4 whole years ago he lost to a old 41 year old Manny who then went on to lose to Ugas whom Spence pummeled and then Spence got pummeled by Bud. Would we love to see it as boxing fans? Absolutely! but based on the series of events that took place it's not a fight us boxing fans are going to lose any sleep over not happening, ever...

Crawford has a legit beef. He couldnt BUY a fight with any of the PBC "protection league" welters a few years back. It was all that "other side of the street" nonsense. Fair play to him for giving them some jazz now that THEY are the ones rattling a tin cup looking to fight him.......

That being said, I wouldnt mind a Crawford-Thurman fight.

I agree with all this, but Keith has absolutely nothing to do with the politics of it. Neither did Garcia. I think the both of them would have fought Crawford had he been with PBC in that era. They were all fighting each other.

Crawford's also the one who resigned with Top Rank knowing they didn't have marquee fights for him, and that PBC and Top Rank didn't co-promote in that era. And then he turned around and sued Arum for not making him a star.

Things might be changing now, but as much as people don't want to admit it, boxing was separate leagues in that era and Crawford essentially signed with Bellator and then was mad he didn't get a shot at any of the UFC guys.

Thurman is the biggest clown in boxing.

Why is he calling Crawford kid. Thurman is 34 and Crawford is 1 year older at 35. Thurman is so ***ing arrogant, he is talking like he is the elder 50 year old champ with the better record talking to an up and coming kid. Crawford is older, far better record, far more active and would KTFO of thurman head to head.

Only some old head like Hopkins or Tyson should be calling crawford kid.
