Saying Hopkins won this fight is one of the biggest displays of jingoism you will ever see. People only say he won because he is American, period.

there is a reason there are no gifs floating around of calzaghe actually landing punches. there is a reason there are only like 2 pictures of calzaghe actually touching hopkins and i think in both of them hopkins is lighting him up even worse. even the pictures that look like calzaghe just landed a punch have been proven false. it's a manfredo stoppage all over again and you fell for it.

Even if what you are saying is true, though I saw many, many clean punches land, then one guy was at least trying to fight while one guy is backing away and throwing 1 punch at a time and clenching the whole round. What you had to pick between was Joes 3-4, 3-4 punch flurries or Hopkins 3-4 punches landed per round. It is the same thing with B-hop as it was with Taylor 1, he just didn't fight enough to win.
