Chisora fought Fury for the third time after doing what exactly? Just about maybe beating semi-retired Pulev?

Joyce has yes lost two fights back to back 'But those two fights, were the highest level Heavyweight fights since Wilder vs Fury III & Joshua vs Usyk II'.

Joshua may well have the ability to still beat 90-95% of the fighters in the game.

Note: Maybe Fury would of lost last night to Zhang, maybe Fury would of lost already if he actually fought top level boxers '90% of Fury's reputation is built up off beating Deontay Wilder'.

Fury reputation is in my opinion, not built up off beating Kiltschko 7 - 8 years ago 'Mega win in terms of historical magnitude, but he did not beat Kiltschko up or knock him out. 17 months after Fury vs Kiltschko, it was Anthony Joshua who beat Kiltschko up and knocked him out 'In the greatest Heavyweight title fight of the past 25 years' etc.

I think Joyce has been burnt out since beating Parker 'The damage he sustain in that fight due to Parker whacking him beat time was underrated'. Joyce skill for skill may have just come up against a fighter who was strong, and also could punch with too much power etc.

Joe's not retiring. There's too much money in gatekeeping all these Top Rank/Queensbury HWs.

It's possible the cumulative effect of the punishment he's absorbed has finally caught up to him.

It's also possible that it's just a tough matchup for him: enormous, heavy hitting southpaw with quick punches.

I still think Joyce would provide many of the upper echelon plenty of problems in matchups.

He is still a good boxer just needs to stay away from really good Southpaws.

If Joyce wants a, way back there are a couple of options.

The most realistic option is to fight winner of Charr v Miller for the WBA mandatory once Ussyk gets Hrgovic out of the way.

Option 2 if Fury and Ussyk have the unification fight Hrgovic for the IBF mandatory

Option 3 fight Wilder for the WBC mandatory if Wilder v Joshua falls through.

Other than that Im not sure regarding a world title but their are other money fights like Parker or Dubois rematches or maybe a fight with Ruiz Jr or up and coming star Jared Anderson.

There might not be a fast way back to World title contention.

But? What I am speaking about is 'There are still many good fights out there for Joyce'.

I think Joyce has been burnt out since the Parker fight, that fight was a pivotal moment in his career 'The damage he sustained in that fight was overlooked and underrated'.

Parker vs Joyce II is a big fight, and I think Parker would be game for that.

Joyce still may be in a position where, many Heavyweights still don't want to fight him 'Not just yet'. Zhang's power is top level, so? If you cannot take Joyce out of the fight or hurt him 'Do other Heavyweights really need to fight him?'.

If Joyce would of lost this rematch, but was competitive over 12 rounds 'Then I don't really think many people would be calling for him to retire'.

Joshua & Wilder for example have never lost any fight, in the manner that Joyce was beaten by Zhang last night.

Joshua was stopped on his feet vs Ruiz I, with a smile on his face 'And Wilder was also stopped on his feet, while still fighting back vs Fury II' etc.

At this point he should look to maximise earnings. He won' get paid much until he wins a 'significant' fight. He might fight the winner of Abdelaye-Wardley - not easy but winnable - then look to fight Chisora or Dubois rematch

Hrgovic isn't going to risk his title shot against anyone. He's up next. Zhang shouldn't either, as he's already very old for this game. And Fury isn't going to fight Usyk. He's said he's not interested in fighting any real fights. He'll do exhibition freak shows until he finally gets stripped and then follow the Floyd path and try to bank on his name as long as he can doing exhibitions and prattling on about the lineal champion.

Joyce has some decent money options with rematches, vs Parker and Dubois at least. But his time is up.
