Bivol is a absolute quality fighter and a very hard guy to beat over 12 rounds. He doesn't do anything flashy but it's all solid drilled in Fundamentals in terms of his footwork and the way he's able to throw in combinations and get out of the range of being hit himself and it might not be thrilling to watch but if you're gonna teach a fighter how to box effectively using the Fundamentals you show them tape of a Bivol fightHitmon

These articles often got a vibe of mfers just on a street corner yelling their beefs at the world lol, but 99% of the time its in a interview from 1-5 days ago & boxingscene has broken them up into small lil pieces to max out content that seems like these mfers just said this sh^t this morning after waking up sideways about something with that guy.

i think the thing that got people with these quotes is calling bivol a solid ok fighter then a good fighter
i think most people would agree that hes a very good fighter at least and possibly more and some would say certainly more up to elite level guy
then u see why ellerbe might be doing this when its said 'Alvarez simply hasn’t shared the ring with some of the world’s best lately', he alluding charlo is this guy to bring out the best in canelo & making excuses as to why canelo might not have looked his best lately, its all a bit convoluted to me, more likely canelo is just on the slide, seems like that to me anyway, if he looks better v charlo its probably down to charlo himself & not playing too much golf for 'lesser guys' lol

I agree with Ellerbee. I need to see more from Bivol before I can crown him.
Beating Canelo just don't mean as much as it did before. Canelo has been boxing since he was 15. He's clearly worn down.

Is Leonard Ellerbe a knowledgeable boxing guy to be listening to? Is he even a competent promoter?
How well is TMT doing these days?

Charlo is not noticeably smaller than Canelo. In fact he might be bigger than him.

You can't call yourself a fan of the sweet science if you don't appreciate the Russian boxer's style of fighting. He's a classic hit-and-not-get hit fighter, and his prime asset is his foot work. You can't pin him on the ropes, you can't make him to play your game, you have to play his game. It may not be fan-friendly to the casual, but it's what makes him victorious in every fight he's been in. It's a difficult style to beat if you're the opponent.Hitmon likes this.

crawfords trainer has also said stuff like that if bud were to beat him, people are still using canelo as a yardstick, rightly or wrongly for their guyHitmon likes this.
