Rolly managed to go straight into a vacant WBA title fight off a KO loss in a lower division and with zero fights at 140. And Dubois isn't the WBA regular champ any more. WBA being what it is, I could see him fighting some low ranked guy for a vacant belt in a couple years, even if he loses here.

True but Joyce is already 38yo so will probably call time on his career and retire. If he can’t beat a 40yo contender like Zhang he’s got no chance against the likes of Fury, Joshua, Wilder or Usyk.

Ruiz barely won against a 43 year old Luis Ortiz and people still think he's worth talking about, and even think he's worth 50/50 v Wilder. The so-called top guy has two legit names and is a drug cheat who has been avoiding top competition as soon as he got a belt. Heavyweight right now isn't all that.

Sure Heavyweight is one of the weakest divisions in boxing but I still don’t see Joyce beating the likes of Wilder or Ruiz (aside from the obvious puncher’s chance) let alone the more established champions like Fury, Joshua or Usyk. In other words, I DON’T think he’ll ever be champ.

It takes boxing abilities and set ups with counter punching in combination to stop Joyce , Wilder doesn’t have that in his tool bag so it’s a 50/50 on any given day . Fury hates pressure he won’t like a 6”6 one that weighs 265 plus . Those are the two he most likely beats if he fought any of them with being the underdog . There’s a reason Fury said Joyce dont have enough Instagram followers to fight then proceeded contracts with Chisora .

I thought Joyce would wear down Usyk to before the Joshua fights but Usyk has managed to adapt well in his current form but that’s not a give me either,after today I’m assuming Joyce regains his mandatory position if not it wouldn’t change any of this it would pose a real question about Zhang though and a new legit top 5 guy .
